These terms cover the ALT apps and ALT Plus, sold by DoubleW Ltd. By using the apps or subscribing, you agree to them.
The apps
Dock, Drop, Awake, Convert and Sort are free to download and use on any Mac you own or use. You may not resell them or pass them off as your own.
The apps are built to be careful with your files: Sort only moves files and can undo every sort, and Convert never overwrites an original unless you turn on Replace originals. Even so, keep backups of anything important. The apps are provided as they are, without any warranty, as far as the law allows.
ALT Plus
ALT Plus is a subscription of $9.99 a month, in US dollars, that adds one feature to each ALT app. It renews every month on the day you subscribed until you cancel.
Your key is for you. You can use it on your own Macs; please don’t share it or publish it. A key that is clearly shared publicly may be turned off.
Cancelling. Choose Manage Subscription in any ALT app. ALT Plus stays on until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then stops. Nothing else in the apps changes.
Refunds. If ALT Plus isn’t for you, write to matthew@doublew.ltd within 14 days of a payment and we’ll refund it. This doesn’t affect any rights you have under the law where you live.
Failed payments. If a renewal can’t be charged, ALT Plus keeps working for a few days while Stripe tries again, then turns off until payment goes through.
Price changes. If the price changes, you’ll be told by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Features may change as the apps improve. If ALT Plus is ever discontinued, you won’t be charged again, and a month already paid for and not yet used will be refunded.
Liability
As far as the law allows, DoubleW Ltd isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data, from using the apps, and total liability is limited to what you paid for ALT Plus in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be here with a new date. A change that affects your subscription will be told to you by email before it applies.
